Searching For the Appeal of 'Outsourced'

Nov 12th 2010 5:23PM (AOL TV)
I completely agree. Parks and Rec season 2 is just brilliant. I missed the first season when it aired and was watching it on Netflix...amusing but not as good as the 2nd season (kinda like the The Office). can't wait for it to come back. I miss Ron f'ing Swanson

'The Walking Dead' Review: A Zombie Tale Made with Brains

Just wait and see how Rick develops. It's astonishing how different the Rick from issue 1 is compared to the one in issue 78 (the current issue).

I can't wait. The pilot was very good.

What to Watch: TV Picks for October 25-31

The premiere of the Walking Dead is pretty good. Deviates somewhat from the comic but in a way which makes sense for TV. Not sure if it holds people's interest for the 2nd episode, but I would urge people to stick with the show because the comic is excellent.

What's On Your DVR: Which Fall Shows Are You Deleting or Keeping?

I am liking Boardwalk, but much like The Sopranos or The Wire I think it's a show which needs to be seen more than once a week.

What's the Greatest TV Show of All Time?

Oct 17th 2010 1:18AM (AOL TV)
There is NO comparison to The Wire. Simply the greatest drama of all time, and possibly the greatest TV show ever.

Or maybe The Simpsons during its heyday. The way it captured the average American experience is timeless and hilarious.

4 Comic Books That Deserve the TV Treatment

Or how about a "Y: The Last Man" TV show? I'd rather see that then a movie. Though a 3-part movie might not be a bad idea.

Btw, I am definitely a little worried about how The Walking Dead would translate to TV, especially censored TV. It is extremely violent (even somewhat disturbing in this day and age), has sex scenes and a lot of strong language too. If it was on HBO or Showtime I would have been less worried.

I think fans of the comic book would definitely wonder how THAT famous scene would translate to TV. I think even HBO/Showtime would have balked at showing that...

'Invincible' from Robert Kirkman (creator/writer of The Walking Dead) would also make a great animated TV show. Just the fights could be epic.
