This is probably to match Target's similar sale right now. While Target has fewer eligible games, I think the games available are generally better. Check it out.

I actually already dropped my Vita once and it's fine. I was trying to put it in its case and was trying to do something else, and it popped out and on to the ground. After a few agonizing seconds, I examined it and found no damage, and it still works fine. A fine machine by any standard.

Damn redcoats.

I swear to god Activision must be paying people to post this on every AC thread. I see it everywhere, and refuted equally well everywhere, and yet it keeps appearing with slight word-order variations, but these words must always be in it: "bash" "COD" "every year" "but not say anything" "hypocritical".

I feel like you're conflating thematic consistency with genre consistency. It doesn't sound like Wizardry is thematically inconsistent, since it's probably silly throughout. It also sounds like Planescape is relatively thematically consistent since it tends to address deeper topics.

I'm really annoyed by this whole conversation, not only because Roguelike is such a dumb name, but there's a much better one that's already super common.

Diablo is a Dungeon Crawler. This seems like a huge oversight for an article that specifically points out how dumb Roguelike is.

That's some weird selective memory of the past 5 years. I remember Fallout, Starcraft, and Deus Ex all having tremendous success as reboots/remakes/sequels.

They're all a part of ESA, which is on record as for SOPA. It's not unreasonable to assume they agree with the larger organization they're a part of unless they say otherwise.
