Western Interactive Novel or for short WIN which is what this game will be.

Kane & Lynch 2 debut trailer is totally 'raw' and 'brutal'

Dec 16th 2009 12:12PM (Joystiq)
I absolutely loved the ideas behind Kane and Lynch but the execution fell short of what I wanted. Still it made for a solid co-op experience and if certain features are added to the game, better AI, pressing a button to get into cover, and more, than this game would be perfect.

EA dragging Dragon's Lair to iPhone

Dec 5th 2009 10:10AM (Joystiq)
I feel its worth mentioning that the Wikipedia page has an entry for a PSP version as well, and it contains a small bit of info under "other notes".

This release will have additional tweaks not present in previous versions. For instance, this version will have new additional scenes, a castle map that displays the player's progress and five lives per player instead of three.

New Games This Month: December 2009

Dec 3rd 2009 7:06PM (Joystiq)
Just going by my age (15) I should be waaay over my budget for video games by now but surprisingly I'm not. I actually have more money in my bank account now than I did at the beginning of the year, which is twice as shocking once I found out I spent over $1500 on video games this year, which is almost as shocking as the fact that I made over $1500 in about 6 months working as an umpire.

And seeing as how I still have some money left over I'll be getting The Saboteur on its release day, and possibly JC's Avatar for PS3 or PSP. Those two along with the other 20 or so games I bought in the last few months should hold me off until February or whenever White Knight Chronicles is coming out.

Prison Break game screens unfold blueprint for escapism

Oct 21st 2009 9:14PM (Joystiq)
It is much a better story, but there would be almost no interesting gameplay in a Shawshank Redemption game.

1. Think about killing your wife but pussy out and get blamed for her death anyway
2. Go to jail
3. GET RAPED
4. Meet Morgan Freeman
5. Polish rocks
6. Dig a hole in your wall every night for 20 something years
7. Start a library
8. Do everyone's taxes
9. Crawl through a sewer drain to escape
10. Go to Zihuatanejo, Mexico and build a boat with Morgan Freeman
11. GAME OVER

Piracy discourages future PixelJunk PSP port plans

Oct 19th 2009 9:07PM (Joystiq)
Heres a little idea for all the pirates out there.

1) STOP PIRATING GAMES
2) GET A JOB (or find someway to get money)
3) BUY THE DAMN GAME
4) PLAY THE DAMN GAME
5) REPEAT STEPS 1-4

I am very happy at the announcement of these two fine prizes that I have a chance to win.

New Games This Month: October 2009

Oct 6th 2009 3:26PM (Joystiq)
Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition, and Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising because I love games that present an incredible amount of challenge, and Borderlands because I have wanted that game ever since I read about in Game Informer however many years ago it was.

Review: PSP Go

Sep 28th 2009 1:31PM (Joystiq)
There is a price reduction on the go from Dell, you can get it for $212 after using a coupon they give you. Its closer to the price I would want to pay for it, but I'm still not convinced I really want a go right now.

TGS 2009: NIS America announces Badman 2, Atelier Rorona

Sep 24th 2009 3:19PM (Joystiq)
Agreed. I'm one of 2 people I know that payed the demo and didn't go "LAME!" and walk away from it. Definitely one of the PSP's most underrated games.
