can you please stop using the misleading term "on contract"? technically speaking, i'm "on contract" right now as i signed a new 2-year last year. but i won't be able to get the droid for $199, right?

this is considerably cheaper. playon is $40-$50 depending on when you buy it. plus you need to run a computer all the time (electricity). for me at least, playon has always been pretty buggy. this is a much more elegant solution.

ever think maybe they say "spring 2010" because the release date isn't firm yet, and spans the possibility of either march, april, or may of 2010?

the only problem with playon is that it's windows only. otherwise, i'd totally dig it.
