Yeah, I understand that, but its those mini-games that spoils it, in Top Spin, you still train, but its against real world opponents, or exhibition matches that earn you XP and Fans etc, to boost your stats up.

None of this hit the huge apple type of thing. Each to their own though, and many people probably enjoy those mini-games, just not me. Bugs me to hell.

You know what sets Top Spin apart from Virtua Tennis?
The fact you simply rank up on Top Spin by PLAYING.

None of this mini-game crap that VT has, which, for me - spoils the game, even if it maybe better in terms of graphics, physics or game modes or whatever (I am not saying it IS btw - just an example).

So, for realism of my simulated sports games, Top Spin 4 wins out on this one.

Agreed, nothing beats that feeling (and seeing in person) of elation when you beat a friend(s) at games, in real life, or on a couch in your living room.

Split Screen intensifies that imo. A right laugh. So yes, I feel this game deserves split screen for the gamer WITH friends in the real world.

ie. the ones that never followed the white rabbit.

Such a shame that this is happened to a lot of studios.

The detail in the engine is incredible. This is surely going to be the FPS to save my life from the drudgery (MOH/Homefront/COD).
