A HD remake of Silent Hill 1 would require building it from scratch. They might as well just remake the game for the PS Vita or PS4.
You do realise that developers are just replacing the textures (and adding some 3D novelties) to these HD remakes. Nothing beyond that. Glitches and everything will be still there. And they do that because it is the cheapest way to cash in on the nostalgia factor.

This will go down as a collectible.

As for being a "slight deterrent," I doubt anyone would have actually noticed if it wasn't for articles like this.* And by the time they did, they would have long finished the game and only noticed when they were putting the case into their game library.
*New releases are promoted in store with the cover facing out... no one really sees the spine.

Why don't you just buy a third-party Xbox 360 style controller for the PS3?
I'm sure there are a few out there if you look.

I did a quick google now. I didn't know they were suppose to realise a HD remake of it during the month.
Sorry about the misunderstanding.

It is also available on the Xbox 360 though, which might explain why I got voted down.

I don't own an Xbox 360 (or an Xbox) I didn't realise it was a PSN / PSone game. I kinda thought I was missing something in skelbono's comment. I thought it was another one of those flame comments were people were threatening to move to a 360.

I want to download a few PSone / PSP games myself. I was out of the country when the store went down.

What does the PSN store have to do with you getting Beyond Good and Evil?
Chose the system you use most. (I am assuming you have an Xbox 360 already).

They will get it together before the end of this month. They have no choice.

Hang on a second... a game that looks great because of it's anime qualities being turned into a live-action movie?

We still have to wait for the PSN to go live.
From past reports, I get the impression that when you try to sign in with your old password, you will be forced to change it to a new password.

If you are using a different PlayStation other than the original one you used to create your account, you will receive and email instead telling you to change your password.

I think it is to avoid people who might be in a hurry once the PSN is eventually live.
Imagine being excited at the announcement that you can now sign in and change your password, only to have to spend an hour (estimation) waiting to download a new firmware update.
