Great Analysis, but lets go further. First though, lets assume Bungie spent more than a couple hours slapping some clips together. I bet anything they carefully edited EVERYTHING.
Oh, and these arent in any specific order. Hopefully that will get you to look at everything a second time.
1. The clip showing the dropping pods shows a very wide spread. Not normal for regular drops. Could indicate an original launch from much further. Also, how the pods were burning was not consistent with low orbit drops. (Maybe the windows and physical appearance could indicate a craft more worthy of space travel)
2. Google Traxus. Seriously, Google it. Then find it on one of the foreground buildings 7 seconds in.
3. The lines from our sup (AI) can be seen along the side of the display before the explosion. It has obviously been working alot lately.
4. Furthermore, look at the symbol in the upper right. It changes from open eyes, to squinty/questioning, to sad. Our AI is sad for the blast (obviously a slip jump, notice the EMP Trip on the bottom during the explosion), but probably not rampant.
5. When the AI is panning up to the pods, along the bottom the AI flashes "Threshold Triggered" "Auth. Inq." and "Auth. Neg." Those pods arent supposed to be there. At least according to our AI, who, in previous Bungie posts, seemed to be requesting help.
6. Whats with the quick clip of pod w/ the deploying chute? Thats not on a building, but its up in the air. Also, whats with the writing in the corner, only time we see "Maradara"
7. Most importantly, when the pods are falling, in the lower left, there is a statement: "Data leak on level 9!" It is right under "Activating subroutine: Vergil". Time to reply all Level 9's? I doubt it, although TU2 might have added something. The way I see it, this is a very important clue. Its flashed everywhere many times, most importantly right at the end under "Microsoft Studios." Its subtle, but important subtle.
Anyways, thats my 2 (thousand) cents. Any thoughts?
