Because that's where Desmond is from. If we're going to see Desmond's story eventually, we need to go to the states, right? The games have hinted at this for quite a while. I'm not sure why this comes as a shocker to anyone.

Also, why does everyone want an Assassin's Creed ninja game? Every other god damn game has ninjas in it.

I'm hoping it's better than that last mission. I'm really glad I went back and played the other ending route, Way more satisfying.

@(Unverified) FFVII and VIII were made on PC. Also: emulators!

I think anyone who is a beginner with JRPGs should just go ahead and jump right in to Ogre Battle or Final Fantasy Tactics and just deal with it.

@OGC I really like Chrono Cross, but I'd hardly call it essential. At least, not as essential as Chrono Trigger.
