Loving the Olympics. NBC... not so much

Aug 12th 2008 10:33AM (AOL TV)
The CGI fireworks were NOT NBC's decision! Can't anyone be bothered to do some simple research these days?

Four reasons why I'm not watching the Olympics

They were announced as CG when they first aired the ceremony and not only that, it wasn't NBC's decision - it was the film director China hired to do the opening ceremony that chose to do it that way (and others involved).

As for the parade, you have no idea what you are talking about.

But anyway, feel free to continue to blame NBC for all this. These "problems" are clearly all NBC's fault.

Psych: The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable

Phil is spot on. I actually prefer it when TV show characters talk about real world places and products as it makes it seem more realistic. I'd rather they eat at a Red Robin than at a Mega Mooby Muffin or something, because at least people can relate to a Red Robin. And what if Spencer actually DOES love the shakes there? Haven't you ever talked highly of some product to your friends?

The way the show has been doing it so far only helps to make these people seem more real. The wrong way to do it, in my opinion, is what Eureka is doing with Degree. That sucks. Psych has the right idea.

Heroes: Lizards

My understanding is that the Haitian did NOT wipe Mohinder's memory. That's how the scene played out at first, but later, when Mohinder was talking with HRG, he said something like "the package is arriving soon." Of course, the Haitian showed up at the paper store right afterward. The memory wipe was just an act used to fool the rich fat guy.

Women from The View debate science, roundness of Earth - VIDEO

Sep 19th 2007 1:02PM (AOL TV)
Actually Ari, evolution HAS been observed, albeit on a small scale (insects, etc). Evolution on a large scale, like a whale growing legs, obviously has not been seen. So to say evolution hasn't been observed is incorrect.

Another factoid is that the hosts of the View are retarded. That's science.

Sullivan acted on King of Queens quite a bit. Although true to what you say, she's also doing voice work for Kim Possible.

Authors call Simon Cowell America's "biggest TV bully"

Don't let your children watch the show. How is that a difficult concept to grasp?

Yes, only the first two are canceled. The rest are still coming. RTFA. :)

Confirmed free game with Wii pre-order down under

Jul 11th 2006 10:17AM (Joystiq)
This article was already marked as inaccurate on Digg. That Aussie Toys R Us is giving away a free game with the PS3 as well, as long as you pre-order.
