Gameplay looks fantastic but I'm left wondering why Pit traded in his awesome bow for some sort of lasergunblade. Yeah..

One of the things I greatly admired about FFXIII was the plot recap that scrolled down every time I loaded up a save that way I never felt lost when I took a break and picked it up a few weeks later.

Course since all I had to do was walk forward a recap wasn't all that necessary eh?

Oh boy Champions is going from Subscription with Premium micro-transaction double dipping to even more micro-transactions!

Ah well, at least you don't need to shell out cash per month anymore. It's a decent enough game but for a cell shaded engine it had an enormous amount of trouble running on any hardware, core i7's and crossfires be damned.

I picked it up with Heavy Rain today for the fantastic $30 off deal. I was planning on picking up the recently reduced Ninja Gaiden Sigma (19.99$) with the coupon but unfortunately you can't use it till the 24th.

I've played all the localized Tales of Games with the exception of Vesperia, and while Eternia my favorite I'd definitely rate Abyss as being one of, if not the best of the game they have brought over here.

As said earlier the fanbase is pretty split on it so you're best bet for a Tales game that won't let you down would be Symphonia. Just don't touch the Wii sequel.
