If they're gonna tout this as a major feature then yes, I expect the cable to be bundled with the unit.

Lovely. In typical Sony fashion, the propriately cable to connect the PSP to your TV is sold seperately.

Making the grade: Nintendo's E3 presentation

Jul 12th 2007 10:00AM (Joystiq)
I do own a DS actually. I've thoroughly enjoyed games like NSMB, Castlevania:POR, Metroid Prime Hunters, Final Fantasy 4 Advanced, Final Fantasy 3, Puzzle Quest etc.

However a portable gaming system will never have the same impact as playing a game on a console or a PC.

I'm also a 30 year old gamer as well. Frankly, after everything at work and then at home is taken care of, I like to sit down on my couch, fire up something like Shadowrun and hook up with my friends online and play a few rounds of that before I have to turn in and start everything over the next day. Sitting on my couch and staring at a 1.5" screen isn't my idea of a relaxing time.

Lastly, a grown man(and parent myself) digging through the DS section and the mountains of games targetted at 8-12 year olds for that one gem of a title surrounded by kids and their 45 year old parents who didn't grow up with Video Games can be somewhat of (scratch that, is ALWAYS) an awkwards experience(judgemental bastards).

Making the grade: Nintendo's E3 presentation

Frankly, I was enthusiastic about the Wii at E306. I could see potential there.

As a gamer though I'm seeing the same thing on the Wii that I'm seeing on the DS. The odd gem that appeals to the gamer demographic (Zelda:Phantom Hourglass) alongside a ton of games I have no interst in whatsoever (Self-Help (ie. Brain Age, WiiFit etc), Casual-type games, Party Games).

Frankly, Nintendo can have and cater to the casuals if they want. I'll stick with the 360(and maybe the PS3 if the price ever gets reasonable).

Had no problems with Nintendo or MS. Sony drops the ball again unsurprisingly..

WiiFit gonna make you sweat

I don't think the Wii can be considered a gaming system anymore.

Nintendo seems to be distancing itself from actual gaming and more towards an electronic self-help devices.

Sony's gonna have to drop the ball pretty damned hard not to win the best presser of E3 award.

That's what I was thinking. Only available through IPTV service providers and not at retail.

I hope Canada gets IPTV service faster than we're getting the freaking Video Marketplace.

Square Enix unveils new release dates with E3 2007 lineup

There's a whole lot of Nintendo on that list and a real lack of anything Next-Gen..

Square made the Playstation what it is when they jumped with FF7 from Nintendo. Can they unmake Sony by going back to Nintendo?

At first glance I like it.

Having all Mario's in the comment section kinda reminds me of a freaky nightmare though
