I'll never understand why EA lets this franchise just waste away, same with Wing Commander, Crusader series, and System shock.....
I'm glad they gave syndicate a chance at revival, but these other franchises need some love too.
The article mentions Ultima Underworld as being parraell in development wolfenstein, but I had watched a documentary where it said that Carmack admitted that Ultima Underworld's development had influenced his work on catacombs 3d, which later got changed into the wolfenstein. Not sure who is right but its intersting that you always hear about wolfenstein, but catacombs 3d was Id's first FPS. I remember downloading that from a bbs back in the day,

Sounds like my fears of The Wii-factor have come true.
Thanks to the success of the Wii with a cheap console, and MS's focus on Kinect, I was was afriad they were going to make a "Good Enough" console, and thats exactly what it looks like.
They knew they couldnt go less than a 6000 series for Directx11 support(it's good enough), and I bet it will be 2GB memory(it's good enough) with built in kinect (because MS is a bunch of hipster marketing business types that wet themselves over kinect).
The 20 percent doesnt matter, its a direct 10 (wii-u) card vs Directx 11 card (6000 series), and thats where it will shine over the Wii-u, they will tesselate everything... there will be a difference graphicly.
MS's new next-gen motto, It;s good enough and has KINECT2.

@Kibbles XIII - You cannot remove it if it was under an active subscription, but you can edit the card expiration date and security code so that charges shouldn't go through.

@Kingsly - I understand where your coming from. The three games you named 1), Dark Souls - Very much an action based game, 2). Mortal Kombat - more action, and 3). Saints row 3 - action with a dildo, it can hardly be expected that cerebral game that doesnt have constant action would work for you.
Those three games you mention dont interest me much, but Deus Ex:HR and Skyrim are my games of the year.

Ther least offensive thing I have ever heard was while playing Halo:Reach. I was asked "excuse me sir but are you Old?' I said how old is old, they replied over 20, I said yes I am over 20. They said great!, they hated playing against people their own age, the kid was 14. I was ready to be offended but the kid was happy I was "old".

I play my mobile games on my iphone while doing errands or waiting on seomthing, I would love a 3DS as its very cool!

It's probably going to be called Xbox Loop... I hope not, but MS trying to copy Nintendo with an Iconic name like Wii, its easy to think that since they are so mainstream marketing driven.
Lets hope if it is Xbox loop, that they dont use the hipster marketing with polo shirted dads in their expensive model house living rooms.
MS seriously needs something cooler than the rich surburb people in every video.
