I think this is good news.

I'm so used to everything in my life being paperless (paperless office at work, everything that was on paper being scanned and stored on my computer at home, cancelling my newspaper subscription because of my iPhone) that I really feel dumb reading paper manuals.

I liked Conviction a lot.

I'm just saying that it's unlikely now that they will ever go back to the "real" Splinter Cell (i.e. what it has been for the past 10 years).

Well that settles it, we will never see a real Splinter Cell game again.

Oh, I forgot about Horde mode - that was friggin aewsome! But not enough on its own for the $60.

I think 3D movies and games are stupid.

They add very little to the experience and are not worth the hassle and the cost.

They are just a gimmick to get people into theaters and to get them to buy new TVs.

I agree with you and I think most people agree with you that COD2 was amazing and COD4 was the last great COD game.

The series is on it's natural decline downhill (although I still love MW2).

I hope they are allowed to say "From the creaters of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" on their first game as this would be a huge help for sales.

Why didn't they at least change the shape of these motion controllers just a little bit from the Wii so that they didn't look like complete identical rip-offs?

Some people just fail to realize that $15 is reasonable for people who put in 100s of hours into an online game.

MW2 is an incredible game regardless of whether it's your type of thing or not and a lot of people can understandably put in 100s of hours into it, so $15 to extend the 100s of hours is reasonable.

Same reason most movies end on the third one.

The first naturally focuses on introductory stuff, the second on the action / meat of the story and the third to milk the franchise and have closure.

This is why third parts of movies and games often are not as good as the second (e.g. Godfather 3, Spider-Man 3, God of War III).
