I don't think piracy is impacting the movie business as much as the MPAA claims because there have been a few reports that have come out this year saying how much more pirates contribute monetarily than non-pirates. Many buy the stuff they pirate. Especially with sites like iTunes, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu, it's become quite easy to buy digital content or consume it legally. I believe Hollywood studios and the MPAA are trying too hard to stay with the old model of running a business and completely ignoring the new technological innovations that have started companies and ended others.

Last summer when I read a little blurb about it from TechCrunch. Have been a loyal reader ever since.

I have some faith in Fraser. Even though I didn't like Crash, I thought he was good in that, and the Quiet American was also a great film.

A problem I see with this, though, is that sometimes the movie's style doesn't call for that type of subtitle. It works for Man on Fire and Heroes, but sometimes, for serious dramas or any other type of film for that matter, the subtitles would distract and not enhance the film. But I see your point, and I agree, if the movie calls for it.
