@timkins themediocre

News outlets aren't even waiting to see what games are released in 2012, and have already awarded it with a dozen GOTYs.

More games need a surrender mechanic for their AI. It's awesome in MGS, it looks awesome in this, and it will be awesome in other games so long as it's implemented well.

@MrAlex

Oh hey finally someone with common sense. Glad my meaning wasn't lost on everyone :)

@Nobledevil Gaming Optimist

Congrats on assuming stupid things. I read the article. I'm referring to the shape of the controller itself, not analog stick, button, trigger, or d-pad configuration.

Yay. Hopefully it ends up on Steam. That way I can get it when it inevitably goes on sale.

It's a shame they chose to model it after the 360 controller. I've always found the playstation controllers more comfortable.

Starhawk lifts off on May 8, PS Plus beta starts today

@eat it

No. It's not a demo. It's a beta. Because there are still bugs, they are still testing their servers and various components of the multiplayer. People like you will still use the public beta as a demo, and then if someone like you decides that they won't play the game because of bugs present in the beta then that's their loss.

People with an iota of common sense know the difference between a demo and a beta.

Capcom handing out mini Asuras with Asura's Wrath pre-order

I have to say, despite the excessive QTEs I enjoyed the demo. The whole thing was just extremely cinematic, over the top, absurd, and just plain fun. I do hope in the final game there will be some sequences were you're beating the crap out of a large mass of mooks without breaking a sweat, with bodies flying left and right as you carve a path through an army.

@Azurist

I did the same thing. Once I realized they only had 14 digits after the decimal point I wanted to see what would happen when I filled them all up with 9s.

Steam sales increase 100 percent for the seventh straight year

@spid

"Meanwhile Steam doubled the amount of content delivered in 2011 vs. 2010, serving over 780 Petabytes of data"

Yeah it's not like they give us an idea of how high their sales figures are. No siree. No way they could be successful with only 780 Petabytes of content moved across their servers (up from 390 in 2010, in case you can't do math).
