I'm glad Nintendo is performing so well. Nothing like a good three way race to push prices down and quality up. Although I have no desire to pick up a Wii (I liked my XBOX and PS2 more than the Gamecube) I'm glad Nintendo is bringing non-gamers into the market.

Thank you Microsoft. I just popped JSRF and Panzer Dragoon Orta in and they look fantastic. Well done!!!

I love my 360 but this is crazy. A $479 360 without HD DVD and wireless? I have the HD DVD add on and love it. HD cable doesn't compare and I like being able to watch HD movies when I want.

For $599 the PS3 offers a lot more. True, there's no real reason to buy the PS3 now, but once Wipeout Next comes out, I'l probably be at the store with my hard earned cash.

Still love my 360 - but this is stupid.

The only discs I'm buying are Total HD. I "know" blu-ray has the lead now (thanks PS3) but with the chance of $300 HD DVD players this Christmas (thanks China) this could go either way. Why not play it safe with Total HD?

I want to get a PSP one of these days but can't really justify it when there are such few games I want to play. To make matters worse, I had one for about 3 days before I started getting dead pixels and I kept worrying about scratching the screen. Add Durabis (the coating they put on blu-ray discs) drop the price to $150 and add another analogue stick and Sony could have a winner (though still 2nd to Nintendo).

I really wasn't that impressed with the Motorstorm demo at retail. PGR3 looks better to me. However, I am a huge Wipeout fan and hope they can put the engine to good work. I still wish they would come out with a Wipeout compilation disc with all the tracks from the first three games (or atleast from Wipeout XL)...come on Sony, let's see some pics!!!

Wipeout is the one game that I want on PS3. I bought a PS1 for Wipeout, PS2 for Wipeout Fusion (which I did like - althougth not as much as XL) and PSP for Wipeout Pure. PLEASE SONY make this one good. I will gladly hand over $600+ for this game.

Have you even played Oblivion? Because if you had you would know that it has a lot more depth tha Zelda. There is so much freedom in the game and you can play it so many ways. It was interesting to learn how everybody played the game a little differently and was still able to be succesful. And while it's true that graphics and sound do not make a game it's also true that we don't live in a vacumn where it's only gameplay versus graphics/sounds/effects. Seriously, how many Wii owners would of rather Nintendo not packed in a game and instead beefed up the hardware to have the wiimote and 720p with Dolby Digital? Seriously, wouldn't a Zelda that plays the same but looks and sounds better be BETTER?

I enjoyed Ocarina of Time, did not play Majora's Mask, and got halfway thru Windwalker before stopping. Zelda games are repetitive. How many times can you find the same items, move the same torch to an empty spot, etc. It's time for Zelda to change or die. As a Gamecube owner I'm not excited for the Wii. Nintendo will never have the depth of games that PS2 had last generation and 360 may have this generation (if more crossplatform development happens). Right now it's 360 and PS3 for me (yeah - a 360 fan that wants a PS3 also).

I have to admit I'm a little surprised about how well the Wii is doing worldwide. As someone who had all three units last generation I wasn't looking forward to the Wii (to me Gamecube was OK - not great). I have a 360 and I'm looking forward to picking up a PS3 (gasp - it's true - I know PS3 will have great games too), but if a lot of developer support goes to Wii I may have to pick up that too. Damm, I told myself I would not pick up the three systems this gen (bad Antonio!).

The OXM disc also had a nice 7 or 8 minute piece on the expansion with lots of game footage. I'm excited as the lands are cool and the enemies/town etc. look great too.
