If there's one thing that's true, it's that requests to Studio Liverpool don't fall on death ears. As is evidenced by how WipEout Pure was a return to form after the uproar regarding the F-Zero esque WipEout Fusion. Not that F-Zero is bad, it's just not as good as WipEout ;)
This pretty much doubles the original content; the price is very reasonable. Especially considering that other games will charge you $3 for just one extra vehicle or a couple of skins.
For gaming the sweet spot is 3 cores, often an upgrade to 4 cores even results in a very slight decrease. I can't see 6 cores being useful for anything other than power users into heavy encoding and compressing. Especially considering how much they're going to cost.
