Just for fairness' sake, all three of the aforementioned qualms are true for xbox streaming as well. Netflix is the only reason I bother with a gold account. You can not manage your queue or search for titles, and a computer is required for activation. This appears to be the exact same service.
I really dont mean to sound like a troll or an elitist, but I want to set a coule things straight about this revisionist history.
"Back in the Day" the game would be down for days - no occasional logins, no 'try 20 times until you get in' - Just down. There was no time refunds, there were no hourly 'here's what we're trying' updates. Patch Days were crash days, and servers were constantly overloading. The whole reason blizzard even has a realm status page is because you used to need it.
Day refunds are somethng that became a common-ish tool in the middle of the game's life, and have been given out as recently as the Wrath launch. The game having funky issues for 4 hours on a tuesday night does not equal an entitlement to a free play day. (Market value of fifty cents american, by the way.)
This is insanely cool. Reworking old world content is one of those things we've all talked about, but never expected because blizz Is hard at work on new content. Amazing.
Im gonna jump on the "It's your own damn fault" bandwagon here, as 'If you don't want your surprises ruined for you, don't read this post' could not have been written is more understandble english
Is there anywhere one can see the actual appearance of the new Heirloom items? Im assuming that, like the shoulders, they are the same models as old school items
In fact, im inclined to point out that there are times when Melee DPS belong somewhere other than behind a Raid Boss. Dragons immediately come to mind with their tail swipe, as well as bosses that require no clumping, ala Kelthuzad or AnubRekhan - Even Thaddius is a pretty obvious example.
you're being downvoted, tmac, because of your ceaseless douche-baggery and cathedral sized ego when it comes to video games - not because of the opinions themselves.
Hands-on: Netflix on PS3
