CircBoard offers an interesting approach to typing on an Xbox

Feb 5th 2011 11:47PM (Joystiq)
Is this a joke? What a waste of time. Microsoft already came out with the chatpad. Its like $15. Think about your 360, accessories and games you already own. Most likely you have spent over $500 already on xbox stuff, just spend another $20. And this method is STILL slower than a chatpad.

I wonder what these guys were thinking. They essentially took a problem that was solved over 3 years ago and solved it again in a less efficient manner. Talk about stupidity

Behemoth collects over 30k for Haiti relief, extends promotion again

Jan 31st 2010 7:39PM (Joystiq)
im not to fond of sceems like this. Sure they donate, and its generous, but its also marketing at the same time. A truley selfless act is donating money and not telling anybody about it. What behmoth is doing is equivalent to me donating $500 and braging to all my friends saying how I donated

Alan Wake will stay up late with post-launch DLC 'episodes'

Jan 6th 2010 11:42PM (Joystiq)
I was actually gonna buy this game. Oh well guess I wont be now. Im not into DLC, and if im gonna get part of a game, or "episode" Im just not interested.

Rogers to sell HTC Dream, Magic for $199.99 on contract

May 22nd 2009 7:09PM (Engadget)
probably because we have no choice. MY cell phone is gsm, they are the only provider, My internet is cable, they are the only provider, dsl competition is way to slow in comparison. They are the only tv cable provider, im not switching to satalite. They own our sports stadium. If I want to watch a baseball game, I have to pay them.

Thats why they are a monopoly. Super rich, super evil, and were all with them, but that doesnt mean we want to be. Just about everyone whos with rogers hates them, its no secret, and rogers knows this. Thats why they fought hard to keep competition out, but they lost. In another year or so, their decade long reign of terror will be over, at least on the cell market.

Yeah they do. And they almost look as nerdy as you.

X3F TV -- XBLA in Brief: Lode Runner

Apr 23rd 2009 8:36AM (Joystiq Xbox)

Bubble Bobble NEO coming to XBLA

Apr 20th 2009 8:40PM (Joystiq Xbox)
no way. I was always pissed that bubble bobble got the shaft over the years and was replaced with bust a move, which is just a puzzle game, yet they felt the need to make 1000 different versions for every system ever, rather then revist bubble bobble which was co-op and much much more fun.

They need to make a level editor for this game.

AEE boasts that its new "Mini DV" camera is the "world's smallest"

Apr 18th 2009 3:45PM (Engadget)
you can get a camecorder pen drive which is basically the same size, 4-8gb for like $20 on deal extreme. Its not like this is shouting loads better quality then then camera pen.

Real first-person parkour to make Faith blush

Apr 17th 2009 7:14PM (Joystiq)
Whats hes doing is not that impressive. Whats impressive is that hes doing it all while holding a camera (you can see his shadow holding it). Wow.

BTW joystiq, Im not trying to be a negative nelly but this is stricktly free running, not parkour.

ASUS equips P30 and P80 laptops with Intel's Anti-Theft Technology

Apr 11th 2009 6:50PM (Engadget)
How is this a good thing? The owner is still without a laptop, and now the theif has to steal even MORE laptops to meet his $ of stolen goods quota since its worth less once locked.
