Homeless Man Robert Downs' Camouflaged Shack Shielded Him From Authorities for Months, Police Say

Jul 22nd 2012 4:02PM (AOL Real Estate)
Except for the marijuana plants, why not let homeless persons have their tents or shacks in certain areas of public parks? Isn't that better than having them sleep in alleys and doorways or pestering folks for handouts? Since they're living in the park the city could give them park maintenance jobs in exchange for allowing them to live there. And while we're at it, what's the deal with cemetaries? Perfectly good land is wasted in the archaic practice of saving dead bodies (that could otherwise be donated to science for organ transplants and med school studies or cremated) in undergroand boxes instead of using that land to provide homes (shacks, trailers, etc.) for those who are otherwise homeless. We need to get our priorities straight, people!

Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home

Jul 8th 2012 2:43AM (AOL Real Estate)
This is ludicrous. If he had a group of friends over to play poker or watch sports on TV, that'd probably be okay so why is having poeple over for bible study a crime. I believe this case should be appealed to a higher court. I'd bet a federal court might declare the law that this man allegedly violated to be unconstitutional and a violation of his freedom of religion. Hey! This sounds like a job for the ACLU, or would they rather fight for the rights of hate groups rather than the right of people to hold a bible study in a residential area?

Homeless Man Allegedly Rents Out Vacant Home to Tenants

Jul 4th 2012 12:59AM (AOL Real Estate)
Well, now he won't be homeless anymore. He'll be moving into a big house very soon if U know what I mean ...☺

Paulina Rubio to divorce after tumultuous 5-year marriage

Mar 8th 2012 9:32AM (Celestrellas)
My sentiment exactly. I never heard of these 2 people and have no idea why their breakup is news. When I saw the photo of them, I thought the guy looks like Joe Namath. Maybe he's Broadway Joe's love child, ya think?

Justin Bieber sued by 'Joustin' Beaver' devs

Feb 29th 2012 12:25AM (Joystiq)
This suit should be thrown out. After all Jackie Geason never sued the creators of Fred Flintstone, an obvious Ralph Kramden parody. Let it go, Justin!

A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel

Jan 14th 2012 1:10PM (Gadling)
Perhaps the reason for those accidental discharges of bodily fluids on the bedsheets, etc. could be the result of foods served in the hotel dining area when the most sanitary rules were not observed by the kitchen staff. This is especially true in other countries such as Mexico.

Tennessee Home Burns as Firefighters Watch

Dec 7th 2011 9:56AM (AOL Real Estate)
This $75 annual fee policy makes no sense. Fire, police and paramedic services should be covered by local &/or state taxes that residents already pay. That's how it works where I live. I do not blame the local fire dept. for what happened. I blame the politicians who allow such a ridiculous system to exist.

Weird Stuff Dogs Eat

Don't be so hard on Khyam. Wolves are indeed members of the dog family albeit non-domesticable members.

Because that's what pageants are all about!

Angola named Miss Universe 2011 - show recap (PHOTOS & VIDEOS)

Sep 13th 2011 10:27AM (Celestrellas)
A lovely elegant young lady won Miss Universe. The ignorant fools who don't understand the hard work that pageant contestants go through should just STFU. The nasty comments here are just disgusting.
