I think this sums up why many animated movies are compared to some of the films Pixar has made. I think setting a benchmark works. Too many animated films have throwaway "stories' built around one thin plot that hardly keep a child's interest let alone the parent that takes them to it. To know that a film is at least close to this standard let's me know I won't want to gnaw my own arm off because my 4yr old wants to see a particular movie.
For example with DreamWorks animation How to train your Dragon Great movie for my whole family Monsters Vs Aliens not so much.

If you don't want to call it racism fine, call it prejudicial ignorance. For most non white ethnic groups it's something they've had to deal with for years, someone else telling them who they should look like or what their people can be when portrayed in film/tv or radio. Couple that with the skewed notion that people only want to see or can only relate to Caucasian main characters on screen is why we get this practice. Unfortunately these movies make enough money to keep the status quo in place.

I'd have to agree after MGS 4 there's nothing compelling about the system. Most of the otehr games I would play are multiplatform now (except for GOW3 but that's anther year off.)
