One thing I'm suprised you DIDN't mention was that Wii Sport Resort w/ Wii MotionPlus one of the games you can get.

Well I'm pissed. I signed up for Live Gold earlier this evening and only just heard about this. How the heck did they even advertise this? This is the first Ive heard of it.

I'm going to send Live support an email and see if they will honor my purchases as it was the same day the program launched. Sadly, I doubt it will do me any good.

Well this sucks. I wanted to rent this so I could see if it was any good, but if I do I'm going to have to buy the DLC separate. I'd buy it day 1 but been burned too many times to do that again. >.< Damn being responsible!!

If Sunset Riders has 4 Player online multiplayer, I will probably buy it. Loved that game as a kid. If they add more 80s/90s arcade games like Sunset Riders, I might have to take Game Room more seriously.

I still don't understand this. How did the game go gold and make it into stores if it was a "bad game"? They never QAed it? Did focus groups or alpha/beta testing? I can't imagine how much money sunk into this game only to channel it. It just doesn't sound ... possible in this day and age. I swear there is something else going on.

@JonahFalcon No... Zen Pinball = Pinball FX. If it was the same, there would be no reason NOT to release the Marvel as DLC.

@totorototoro That has nothing to do with Schafer. LucasArts owns the right to the game. You are best to beg them for a re-release.

@davek HD remake would still cost a fair amount of money. The sales of it would first have to pay off the development costs, then go towards funding the sequel. They are better of doing what others have said: get it on sale on XBLA to drum up interest. Heck, re-print it on PS2 (which sadly won't happen) so PS2/PS3 w/ BC can play it. That would be the cheapest way to do it.

While I agree that an HD remake would be amazing (a la Beyond Good and Evil HD), I just don't see it happening. Then again, Beyond Good and Evil is getting a HD make-over to drum up interest for its sequel and I'm not sure how or why that got approved. It could happen. I for one hope so :finger crossed:
