If you want a tiny car that gets good mileage, why not just pick up a Geo Metro. You can get them dirt cheap nowadays, even free sometimes. Rebuild the engine and put the car on a fiberglass diet and you could get a cheap hypermiler.

Why can't the games themselves be coded to prevent them from being played from the hard drive? How hard would it be for developers to implement a software based protection to see whether there are shenanigans going on in the system.

Added production cost atm since it would have to be partly hardware based for compatibility.

Figured they would have had it down to 35nm by now. Maybe we'll see 25nm by PS3 Anorexic.
