So by that logic, gamestop shouldnt sell any portal 2 PS3 copies because they give you a steam voucher. Take it even further, they shouldnt sell any valve game because it requires you to use a competing digital distribution system.

@EazySCT I am pretty sure that 90% of all Resident Evil games are third person shooters, not first person. Factor in that /6 has only made Third Person Shooters in the past, I doubt this will be "another fps."

I wonder how this would work. For at least the first few years, Sony lost money on the hardware sales and there was no profit. This would be a real kick in the pants if it happened and the amount was high enough.

I think people are overreacting here. IF LG wins and IF the amount is high enough, Sony will be hurt but will not go down. They only will pay out for the consoles themselves, not the software which is where they make all their money. And I dont think they will be forced to stop production on it, they only have to settle on the case and move on.

I really dont think its about him being a bad director or him not being able to make this movie good. Its about him taking the name uncharted and making it into something totally different. Think of the american super mario brothers 2. The game had nothing to do with the Mario universe besides having the Mario characters in it. It was a completely different game they threw the name on and passed it off as Mario for the sake of it.

Based on all his ideas on what this movie will become, its going to turn into one of those situations where people see the movie then go play the game and ask: "How are these even related?"

Isnt there an agreement when you first start the system up and set up the time and the user settings? I know there is definitely one when you update the system but I am pretty sure there is also one when the system is first booted.

You do realize that Sony never claimed they were going to do this or anything like it. This is a third party saying they COULD if they wanted to.

I dont understand why everyone is flipping out. You're all mad because Sony attempted preventing you from pirating games? Sony's not going to disable legit jailbreakers systems.
