I'm in naughty nice purgatory, being split 50 /50.

This is one reason the grass looks greener on the other side with Microsoft...

...Microsoft caters to us westerners with for example: netflix, facebook, and lastfm.
They are always trying to improve and incorporate the 'norms' of society into xbox.

...Nintendo caters to Japan with certain channels, games, and exclusives.
They are not really caring or focusing on what westerners would want or would use.

I'm not a fanboy of any means just an avid gamer.... and I would prefer a system that is looking to give me things I use rather than leave me out/ not focus on the western audience

I'm looking forward to this actually. was about to get it for GC but might as well get it for wii - give it a few months and it's price will drop too.

at least one publisher isn't afraid of making money.

I can't tell you how many games i'm expecting to buy for the wii.

Theres just no rush usually to get it day one.

I know I'll be buying madworld and overkill along with the conduit, little kings story, excitebots. Heck I still haven't gotten Okami but I will.

Just bought Umbrella Chronicles for 20$ - seems like a steal when it avgs on Amazon for 30$.

Another benefit to waiting to buy games that arent day 1 purchases is to see if they are good enough to warrant a sequel ( usually vastly improved ). If so then I will definitely pick up the sequel because I hate owning a game and it's sequel when they are made just 1.5 yr apart without vast changes.

So though I never bought ( i rented) boom blox, de blob, or NMH - like many people I can see their sequels' sales atleast increasing by 50 -100%

I wonder if reducing the fight mechanics allows to better utilize the systems resources.

anyway - game looks great - wii version will be the obvious way to go.

im actually just waiting on them to release all 5 as a compilation disc for wii.

first to my girlfriend then to my wii.
