@FlashJS It's a name. All names/brands are in english, for english speaking companies at least. (yes i know dice is in sweden? but EA is american)

@Drakkenfyre Disposable razors. Pretty much just as good, but WAY cheaper.

@Jack Kevorkian Yea, also the VIP map pack 7, with the 4 new maps (well 2 new, 2 redone form BC1) which is FREE will be awesome as well! Much better than pay for everything COD.

Anyone else see that activision is going to monetize the series with the COD Points? The are sooo going to sell them. I bet eventually ( a few games down the line) they make it very difficult to win them in game, and instead make purchasing the main way into the online. Also they could make it the only way to gain points on the PC. They could offer the game free on PC with this model, and just charge for the online. This move to a freemium (but still charging for the original game) is just plain evil! Now it hasn't happened yet, but if it does I plan to stop playing/buying COD. It's all about battlefield baby!

Onlive is not Xbox Live. While it has a few similarities, (demos, paid for subscript, internet required to log in) it is miles apart different.

Xbox live is primarily a network over which users take their already owned games and play them online. They can typically also play offline, either via system link or solo play. Xbox live also offers demos, but you can easily play them with no internet connection. It also offers several online only features. However a lack of internet in no way disables your ability to play.
