I think it is idiotic to blame anything on the behavior of a mad man besides his own madness. People are trying to point blame and say he did these things because he liked video games or he was conservative. He did these things because he was insane, maybe not from a legal standpoint but definitely from a social standpoint. No one can engage in something like this without having some wiring issues.

As far as the retailer, I think they are pulling it out of sensitivity to the victim's family, not to blame the video games themselves (although they leave the door open for that). Do you remember the song Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool? Most radio stations in America pulled it in the wake of 9/11 out of sensitivity to the victims. If that is the intent of the retail chain and its only temporary, than I think they are just trying to be sensitive to the victims and their families.

He stated in his manifesto, and I am not joking, that if someone needed to become less socially involved so they could plan a similar attack they could just tell their friends and family they had taken up WOW and it was taking up most of their time. I am trying to find the direct quote but havent pulled it up yet.

I have been wondering why they havent been making more Rainbow Six games. Nice to see one is in development. I still think Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 were two of the best shooters on the 360. Slow and smart makes for much better gaming than guns-a-blazing. Hopefully they keep this formula. One complaint for the screen shot is the graphics. They look like they havent improved since R6V, but I guess one screen shot is not much to base it off of.

I think it looks like some of the gameplay will be enhanced with new moves and such, but I really felt like the environment was identical to the first game despite it being in a totally new city.

Also, I am really really hoping none of the supporting characters are back. Zeke and Cole's girlfriend were both annoying.

A 24 hour fitness membership for two years can be purchased at Costco for 300 dollars, working itself out to be $12.50 a month. There are no other sign up fees and the membership is good every day of the week. The only catch is that you cannot get into their top tier club, which I believe is called a super sport club. However, to give you an idea of how little of a setback that is, I live in Houston, Texas and in the entire city with many of the surrounding suburbs there is only one super sport club.

Sounds like you were a beta participant, if so how is the picture quality streaming live events?

Finally! I am so sick of the disc! I never remember to make sure it is in until I am already in my recliner and comfortable. I shouldnt have to get up and walk the five feet to my console to make the change. I am an American, I shouldnt have to work that hard.

Time to move to Europe!
