The GUI team were working on the taskbar mainly in W7, but I did also notice the minimise, restore and close buttons are slightly different to vista... they are slightly smaller/larger

power.
To make sure the battery life didn't change, Sony got to work making other components in the PSP use less power and succeeded.
My main concern is that if you did get the screen you would loose quite a bit of battery life since the PSP-2000 doesn't contain the modified components as the PSP-3000 does...
