The stick layout is really a minor issue either way. The important parts about this controller is the size and the triggers. Unless it's a complete piece of junk like most 3rd party controllers then I'm getting it for sure.
Please Sony, could we please have an adult size controller next gen?
I have both consoles but this still feels kinda shitty. I generally buy multiplat games for the 360 since I prefer the controller, so now I have to choose between a longer game or a better controller. It feels like I lose either way, it's not bonus content, it's removed content, just like the two pre-order cases.
Buying a new game is very very expensive. When you pay that kinda money the expectation is that, even if the game is bad, what you're getting is the best possible game that the developers were capable of making within the time constraints. Removing finished content, three entire cases, and handing it out as "bonuses" is disrespectful to the customer.
They're doing a really good job at ruining my hype for this game.
Disregard that, turns out Scandinavia gets a Limited Edition at no extra cost that includes both of the bonus cases! Nice to be on the winning side once in a while. :)
Couldn't care less about the items but how do people outside the US get these extra cases? I was super stoked for this game but paying full price without either of the two cases feels like getting ripped off. Hopefully there will be a GOTY version with everything included at some point but waiting sucks. :(
This is ridiculous, there is absolutely no excuse for making the code so weak that it can be broken. Microsoft needs to fire a whole bunch of their engineers because this is just unbelievably incompetent.
And more importantly punishing steam users cause EA like to screw customers like that. I'd like to think that Bioware is kept on a tight leash, that they're forced to do this stuff. But I don't know, maybe it's a different company these days.
