New Megadeth tracks arrive for Rocksmith

Dec 14th 2011 6:25AM (Joystiq)
@Da Mr Yeah, that's probably what's keeping it from the PC community in the first place.

Kingdom for Keflings coming to OnLive with touchscreen controls

Dec 8th 2011 4:07PM (Joystiq)
@Giovanni117 That happened a few times before. I'm pretty sure Braid from one of the Indie Bundles came with a token for an OnLive copy. Wasn't that the case with retail versions of Deus Ex as well?

Report: Vita limited to one PSN account per console

So it's exactly like the PSP which was locked to a single account. How is that surprising?

Is it just me or does the logo look eerily similar to the old Ubisoft logo?

New Rock Band 3 bundles from Mad Catz include 5 free DLC songs

Nov 27th 2011 1:12PM (Joystiq)
@Osmium Yeah, plus 83 songs on the disc, plus additional 10 (?) Indie Tracks from Rock Band 2 that you can download for free + all the other free downloadable tracks available on the marketplace + all the songs you import from previous games. That not enough songs?

Get a free OnLive console with Assassin's Creed Revelations pre-order

@Timjoy No, it doesn't have any console exclusives. They're console exclusives for a reason.

Looking at the comments above me. Am I the only one NOT having problems with lag? And the graphics aren't as horrible as you make them out to be, especially playing on the big screen at the "recommended distance" from the TV. Yeah, not perfect, but far from "shockingly bad", imho. It's streaming real time from the future, what do you expect?

Microsoft: Cloud gaming the 'distant future,' cloud services coming to Xbox

Nov 15th 2011 4:07AM (Joystiq)
@FlashJS Why won't you try the service before you comment? OnLive already let's you play games the like of Borderlands, Batman, Bioshock or Assassin's Creed and you don't need cosmic speeds. 2mbps is minimum, 5mbps is recommended. You can do it now. It's not 50 years off. It's not even 5 years off. It's here now.

Indie Royale offers NightSky, Ben and Dan, and more for a small, but increasing price

Nov 10th 2011 6:32PM (Joystiq)
Will probably get downvoted, but I would like to speak my mind on the matter of indie bundles.

I love supporting indies as much as the other guys but I am starting to get really annoyed by all the "indie bundles" and clones popping out by different teams.

This said, I will still buy it, because I love supporting independent developers but please, please, please don't milk the idea. Just because "you're indie", doesn't mean you can't drain the concept to death like big corporations do.

It used to be more of a "come on, guys! help the indies/charties out!" kind of thing, but these things start to look more and more like advertising ploys.

They are offering less and less tempting content, while, this particular one goes the way of "BUY NOW! THE PRICE IS GOING TO GO UP" which is kind of a cheap way to get buys.

You should encourage people to buy your title with quality, not lure them with an increasing price.

Long version short:
All the Indie Bundles are awesome but please don't run them to the ground.

Rockstar's Dan Houser still cold on 3D

Nov 9th 2011 6:08AM (Joystiq)
@Motoi I think 3D enhances the game on the same level as rumble does. It's a nice addition if you have it, helps you get "in" the game, but it's not THE feature that makes the game.

You don't see "the force feedback effects in this game are awesome" in reviews too often.
