Looks like I was wrong. The 'Zine was sent out about 20 minutes ago and all it basically says is to pre-order The Beatles: Rock Band to get the first look at all the news on the game. Laaaaaaame (The 'Zine, not the game).
I bought the Ion kit for Rock Band last fall and love it, definitely worth the $300 I paid at the time. Yeah it's silly to spend that much on a controller, but if you plan to do what I did and install a drum module and use it outside of Rock Band then it's a great price for a somewhat decent e-drum kit. As for this Guitar Hero kit...let's just say it looks pretty familiar and I doubt it will have any of the perks of the Ion.
It's gonna be hard to justify a purchase of this one especially since I have a lot of them as Rock Band tracks already. It's still so tempting, though.
