I have to say that selling used games is a very dirty tactic that game stores use. They offer people less than $10 for their games, and then go right around and sell them for three times that price or more. So this is basically making money from nothing. Just as dirty as the people that camped out for a 360 on launch and then eBay'd it for much higher.
Unfortunately, with the rising costs of game prices, I try to get a deal wherever I can find it. So saving money from buying used games is often too good to give up. And games that only had a few shipments are often impossible to find new, so buying it used is the only option.
OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE! This is Sony's way of screwing you by making you buy a PLAYSTATION 3 every year! First they force you to buy a slow as hell BlueRay drive that nobody wants. Then they make up for this slow drive by forcing you to install the game onto the crappy HDD. Those crappy HDD that they give you will die out in a year, and now you can't play your games unless you want to wait for the BlueRay drive to slowly load everything on the damn disc!
Now every year your HDD will die, forcing you to buy a new PLAYSTATION 3. And every year your controller's batteries will die, forcing you to buy new controllers. Sony is cheaping out on the HDD and the BlueRay crap, so they are making a huge profit on every system sold, draining you dumb Sony fanboys of all your money. I'M NOT FALLING FOR THIS CRAP, SONY!
LCD screens are quite strong, but I'm more worried about the touch-screen still working after that kind of abuse. I've tried a lot of demo units at various stores, and it seems the touch-screen no longer works for a lot of them even though the LCD still displayed fine. I know demo units get used a lot more than usual, but is the broken touch-screen from wear and tear, or from abuse like in this video?
