Jul 30th 2009 10:16AM (Engadget)Engadget:
It still can't multitask well, but as of today, it's finally capable of accessing and sharing SkyDrive files. Microsoft has at long last let loose a long-awaited application for Windows Mobile 6.5 that enables Windows CE and Pocket PC users with Windows Live accounts to access the inner rooms of their own SkyDrive. The app lets you login, view files (up to 20MB or so, says Microsoft) and share files by sending others a link via email to what you want to share. There's also an option to password protect those files and limit the amount of days the download is active, though viewing files is limited to Windows-supported file types such as Office, Windows Media, PDF, etc. If you're a not a paying user, go on and give this one a download -- it's not free though, you know?

Jan 28th 2009 11:21AM (Engadget)"when asked specifically about competition like the Palm Pre, and Palm responded with a similarly-explicit "We have the tools necessary to defend ourselves."
Actually if you read the full statement, he was directing his comments to ANYONE, as if he would direct his comments solely at Palm, are you stupid? It's that or you think that we are.
I guess engadget condescends its informed readers.

Nov 22nd 2008 11:37AM (Joystiq)@ Levi, dude, I totally agree. One example is RPG, as a big fan of RPG, I've seen the genre go tail spin because the element of exploration has dissipated. I remember searching through every space of Dragon Warrior's world, Zelda's Hyrule, and the same for the other wildly famous series. Over time, the worlds have become more linear, now you "hop" to another city, like it's Mario 3. I don't get it and it urks me when I see these elements rated as negative impacts to the game! BTW, I absolutely love chaining commands one unit at a time, and if you don't like it, here's an idea! Stop playing RPG, and stop reviewing them!! I don't understand how people who don't like certain genres review games... Personally, I don't do Sports too much, why on earth would I review the genre when I'm looking for flaws that work against the fun that it really provides for people who enjoy it. I think somewhere in there... someone also complained that games are too hard... I love Mirror's EDGE!

Mar 12th 2008 5:33PM (Engadget)Lenovo X300 vs. Apple MacBook Air... Fight!
Feb 15th 2008 10:12AM (Engadget)@Graham: For being such a hater of apple, you're so uninformed "apple make a notebook with two damn mouse buttons, and we will talk" yeah its called tapping with two fingers. And for being such an apple hater, you were really "bummed" about the air.
@All: compare the size with the MacBook, the difference is size between the lenovo and the MBA is just as equal as comparing the lenovo to the Macbook. The macbook wins easily, but since we're talking about a step down and not a step up in size.. I'd still take the MBA, if that was what I wanted.
A computer of that size loses functionality one way or another. Apple decided to cut the functional options while maintaining as much background horsepower as possible, while giving you new wireless abilities, while lenovo cut out the background horsepower and not forsake functionality, its a matter of preference. One is perceived and one is obvious. We Apple users "Think Different" and if you hate us and apple, we don't care, keep your winovo. love you, happy valentines.
