Actually, the word "toon" comes from a RPG with the same name (Toon), where your characters where called Toons. It was a parody to the other serious RPGs at that time (1980s).
@Bynde: I'll just leave this here... http://classic.battle.net/war3/pandaren/ It's the official Blizzard page of the Warcraft 3 joke about Pandaren. You can look at the Kung-Fu Panda references of the illustrations.
Don't ever change your foolish ways, it's refreshing to find someone so easy to bash :)
Is that the only face pattern they have? I could swear I saw the female having more than one pattern for their face. I hope they have more than one, otherwise they'll just look as simple recolors.
Rupture looks nice in simulators, but this is not the case in practice. With the constant target switching and mobs dying so fast in end game, it is much better to just use Eviscerate. While I was learning combat (again) in this expansion, I've never used rupture (I revived my rogue when I knew about the legendaries), instead I focused on learning how to properly use my cooldowns and RS. I've never had a problem to outdps almost any other spec.
Beta testing is for what the name suggest: testing. It is not meant to "play" or "have a free go at the game". They need to stress the game until it becomes almost unbreakable. They know how the game works, so they are very unlikely to break it. That's why they need us, the players beta testing the game. What they really want from us is to try to break the game, so they can find bugs and fix them asap.
So they should open all the areas eventually, including instances, raids, pet battles, and all the new systems that will make it to launch. They should test everything before launch.
Of course, that what they should do and not necesarilly what they'll do.
"Just leave Blade Flurry on all the time, and turn it off when you get to a boss, if you remember. That's it. You don't need to worry about anything else."
Hmmm I don't know if this is good advice or not. I mean, yeah, if you're killing packs of trash, sure. But if you're attacking only 1 target (not a boss) it's a really bad idea. If this is a guide for starting rogues, it means they'll be doing some questing and probably will group with other newbies, and stuff won't be dying fast. Having BF on all the time doesn't teach them how to properly use it.
