@sag969

Um, what?

He's in this one. He was in the last one. Or maybe it was the one before that. Regardless, he was on at least 2 out of the last 3 podcasts.

OnLive MicroConsole review: The hardware and experience

@Malmer

So... try it out? It's free, just download the program. They don't ask for any personal info ('cept email ofc) or billing info.

You can play any game for a half hour. Decide for yourself.

OnLive MicroConsole review: The hardware and experience

I just tried out Onlive (on my pc). It only took five minutes to install and sign up, and didn't need a credit card. I could play every game for a half an hour for free w/o them needing any payment info either.

I played Just Cause 2, which my pc could NOT run, at all, when I tried the Steam demo. It ran very well, looked good, too. I think I'm convinced it works.

The only issue, and it's a big one, is that the current library of games is tiny.

But now that I've got it, if any pc games come out on it I want, I can just load it up. You can pay a few bucks to play a game for a few days, or buy it outright. The prices seemed reasonable, too.

Onlive payed me $1.32 TO SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT IT. ;P

Seriously, though, not bad.

Reading comprehension fail. Obviously it is deep. He was making a joke. You've heard of jokes, right?

@JustinMcElroy

Today is a proud day for me. I shall tell my grandchildren about the day I won an award for defending the great Justin McElroy.

"Skittles," I'll say (in the future all children will be named after Kinect characters), "Let me tell you about the day I saved the President of the World Government from criticism!" (you were planning on running for Ruler of the World, right?)
And then my grandson will yawn and go back to playing on his new Microsoft console, known as the 'Holodeck'.

Kids these days.

And since I already have a string of posts, might as well add another.

The guy strongly defending Castlevania is also defending The Force Unleashed 2. Just sayin'.

You are coming in at the end of a three week argument they were having. They are freiends having a disagreement on a game.

And I honestly think Luddy blowing off his legitimate complaints for three weeks just got him mad, and that's how he reacted.

He's a consummate professional, you just caught him pissed off. Don't be so judgemental, especially when you are new to a place.
