The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review: Paths of desire
Nov 10th 2011 1:53PM (Joystiq)The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review: Paths of desire
Nov 10th 2011 1:50PM (Joystiq)I've got the game today through Amazon. Just arrived at the first town, and so far so good. Going to try and see if I can do some smithing and pick up some quests.
Graphics are so much better, combat similar to Oblivion, like the menu design, just wish I could see my character when equipping new stuff.
Can't wait to jump back in.
Enjoy, guys!
Muslim group disagrees with LittleBigPlanet delay decision
Oct 22nd 2008 8:54AM (Joystiq Playstation)Regardless of wether the delay was warranted or not (it's not a surprise to see opinions within Islam divided over this issue), the reactions of gamers has been most rewarding.
There are those who have shown themselves to be more intelligent over the issue and shown tolerance.
And those who have been more aggressive and negative.
I too was looking forward to picking up the game, and I can't wait to get it when it's finally released. I can afford to wait an extra week or two, and so can everybody else.
I, like everybody else, am expecting it to be a truly great game, and I await eagerly to explore it.
But.
It is only a game. There are other things in life that you can be more critical about. There are more important things that we should be more vocal about. We can afford to wait. We can afford to be understanding and tolerant.
There has been one good thing about this delay. It has brought to light that not only Sony but other companies need to realize that an issue exists that needs to be addressed and that an attempt should be made to implement some procedure to deal with any future issues in a more efficient way.
I also hope that us gamers can chill out a little bit and not get all hot and bothered and resort to name calling or voicing derogatory views or opinions. That's not what the game is about and that's not we should be about. Not over this.
I hope to see us all having fun in a few weeks time and playing some of your levels.

And it's easy to look at the past and make judgements without taking into account the cultures at the time (of anyone).
I'm look forward to you to response.

You can say whatever you want, but you better watch your mouth if it offends the person standing next to you.
