Battletoads. Any game with flying pigmonsters and hands that turn into axes or anvils kicks ass.

Joyswag: A Castle Crashers tee for your thoughts

All I can think is this reminds me of Battletoads, and the Simpsons arcade game. I cant wait to get this, Hack and slash is my favorite.

Im really loving the XBLA experience. This will be my 7th XBLA title purchase and it will certainly not be my last.

Reminder: Download free poker tonight on XBLA

How-To: Run your own network wiring

Aug 23rd 2006 2:47AM (Engadget)
Just a quick comment about the people who were bashing the how-to.

Anal retentive elitists.

Not everyone wants to run their cable through the walls. A lot of people just are not going to care if they see a bit of wire coming from a vent or the such. I doubt this article was aimed at anyone who knows what a patch panel even is or where to find a punch tool.

As for the plenum cable, yea its a good idea, but really only a big worry if its a drop celling office building. That pile PVC baby toys over in the corner is going to be a lot worse for you when it goes up in flames.

Counter-Strike: Source to get revamped

Aug 15th 2006 1:29AM (Joystiq)
The problem is they dont need to change it. I love CS:S and hate CS1.6. One of my friends refuses to play CS:S and will only play 1.6. In either case, Valve wins. We are still playing their game. We all paid for it either for CS1.6 retail, or HL1 or HL2 preorder or Source retail.

They dont care if you hate source cause you probably already play 1.6. They still have the most popular online FPS game franchise ever.

Massive Cingular outages right now?

Mar 8th 2006 1:26PM (Engadget Mobile)
I work at a service desk for a big company and we got this email.

"Cingular has experienced an outage affecting some markets across the country. Texas, NJ, Maryland/Virginia, Southern California have reported issues. Wireless users may experience sporadic loss of voice and data service. The root cause is unknown at this point, but an HLR in Sacramento is suspected. ET of resolution is still unknown, but this is receiving the highest priority.

Details:

The issue appears to national in scope affecting many customers in many markets.

A SIR 1E (the highest level of Service Interruption Report) has been issued and there is a high focus on getting the issue resolved.

Our National Service Delivery teams are working the problem and we should expect service to be fully restored as soon as possible.

The national Trouble Ticket number is TT#000002635986
