Ever visit the comment section of a GoNintendo article about anyone other than Nintendo? The level of stupidity I've seen is pretty insane. The same holds true at Joystiq with people saying stupid things about Nintendo. I just don't understand why we can't be fair, give credit where it's due, and wish for the best for all companies who make games.

Trolls are gonna troll, you should know this. You just have to ignore them, or learn to laugh at their stupidity. I always laugh at half the comments on GN's articles. Things like:
"Yeah, well Team Meat pretty much said they hate Sony, so they're never going to support them!"
"Super Meat Boy's graphics are comparable to a .gif image, so **** Team Meat."
"Nintendo pretty much invented everything we now use in gaming then Sony and Microsoft just came along and stole their ideas. Now everyone loves Microsoft's ripoff console."

(I'm paraphrasing in the quotes.)

Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Apple, and others do this exact same thing. As a product evolves it makes more sense to try and better tailor it to the current crowd (or to just update the look and feel of it).

I don't mind if something gets updated every 2 years, but yearly is way too often in my opinion.

One of my personal favorites is when people say Nintendo "won" because they had the most sales, then say some other platform sucked because it only sold 65+ million.

Last generation the "loser" sold 20m however, this gen's last place is over 3x that amount. Remind me again how any of the big three have failed...

It's already come out that Nintendo denied it solely for the religious sections of the game. Nintendo was fine with the rest of the game, including the mature parts.

Age gates on videos are actually a requirement of the ESRB if I remember right.
