This is one situation where sticking with AT&T is the smart move. People will see how Verizon does with the iPhone 4, and then can jump ship from AT&T when an updated model that can handle data and voice at the same time ships, assuming Verizon proves it can handle what will most likely be an influx of users. Of course Verizon won't see the massive flow of users that AT&T has seen so they probably won't get such terrible press as AT&T has.
Even though Hulu gets tons of bad press for its commercials and the fact that a fair amount of content is web only I find I use it more than Netflix. The commercials are short and the content is current.
You jackasses are the reason people expect so much all the time. You run with every little blip on the Apple radar, you never check sources, and re-post items from every other crap rumor blog out there.
I updated six servers and 150 clients, all heavily used by almost 500 journalism faculty and students. My primary DNS server stopped allowing my secondary and tertiary servers to get updates. I restarted the service on the primary and all is well. Its not the end of the world. Half the idiots on the forums probably had those problems before they updated, they just didn't notice until some other idiot told them the sky was falling.
Dropping iDVD is a no brainer for Apple. They are all about the cloud now.
As far as iWeb, I think this is also part of their new cloud based strategy. The new updates to iPhot and iMovie allow for publishing to more websites, particularly the Facebook integration in iPhoto. Apple is either going to be pushing more and more integration with currently available social networking/blogging sites or they are going to come up with their own via MobileMe. The third option is to purchase an already established site like the recent speculation of a Facebook acquisition. I don't think that is going to happen though. With the death of iWeb I think we are going to see Apple and Facebook working together more and more. Of course, that is no replacement for iWeb, but I think that is what Apple's strategy is moving towards.
