Im not sure what the content is that they are removing. I can say this, after playing the demo I had no intention of ever playing again because the side missions were stupid and a little gay. I felt more hetero playing Hanna Montana, but at least I can simplify my excuse for playing THAT game ... it had easy trophies.
I am ALL about Japanese culture, I LOVE their history and I am a big fan of a lot of the games that suit that culture, but the Karaoke mini game in Yakuza 3 just sucked.
Get rid of THAT and anything equally bad and I'll consider playing this title again. Otherwise, leave all the content in and give it to the fanboys.

Need? No. I agree the DLC is quite enough for continued game play, but updates that only a new disk can bring like, getter graphics, stronger online play, and better avatar building options (to name a few) wouldn't be all that bad to add on to an already great game.
There are a lot of tweaks I feel RB needs (most importantly to fix the bug that deleted my RB1 tracks), and a new sequel isn't necessary to fix them, but a new game wouldn't hurt either.

Maybe YOU should re-read what I wrote. I said NOTHING bad about the game. I dont know anything about it to smash it. But the Unreal engine IS outdated dog shit and I stand by that statement. I am not speculating, the last 5 games I played, that were supported by Unreal, are glitchy, dizzying like a shaky cam film (almost vomit inducing) and graphically outmatched by PS2 games.
You see, I use experience when I judge things, not comments about something entirely different.

Dont know much about this game, but I DO know the Unreal Engine is DOG SHIT ... so we are probably better off.

Zombieland was a good movie ... NOT great, just good. it had its funny moments, but I would not consider this film worth adding to my movie collection. I might rent it for the theme... but to hell with buying it.

No, but a lot of us got sucked in because we were there when they became part of our gaming. I want to lose interest in the trophies... There is no way ANYONE will catch up to number 1 when Hakoom is playing 10 hours a day and only doing it for trophies anyway. personally, if Sony removed the trophy system, I really wouldnt miss it. Despite what I said in a previous post, trophies have all but ruined gaming for me, and I would be happier with my gaming if we never got those damn things.

this news makes the knowledge that PS3 users in the USA will never see this product, hurt THAT much more.

True, but the US has cut a lot of other things that could enhance pirating abilities, why would this be any different? You think they want us to record shows directly to a HDD in full HD? Who needs DVD sets anymore when you got blu-ray quality free and thanks entirely to Sony?
