Killzone 3 contains over an hour of cutscenes

@arkweld yeah unfortunately Guerilla didn't do a particularly great job explaining the backstory in the game. But there is quite a rich background once you read through everything on their webpage. Plus it's kind of interesting. I like hard sci fi so it's kind of nice to take a break from aliens and religious space muppets.

Report: Sony could remotely disable jailbroken PS3s

Let's be clear. Piracy is not the platform destroying aspect of the PSP. The fact that mini games are $40 is the problem with that platform.

ugh I KNOW. There's always a closeup of her face on their videos and she just stares like a zombie into the camera. It's extremely unsettling.

Verizon iPhone announcement rumored to hit on November 9 [nope, it's the Droid Pro]

@anthony- the whole contract is basically speculation anyway. I'm sure that both companies have loopholes that allow them to get out of the contract.

T-Mobile ad pokes fun at FaceTime

Nov 3rd 2010 12:18PM (TUAW.com)
as i said on engadget there's a really, possibly expensive, but extremely effective way for AT&T to shut t-mobile up; stop allowing t-mobile to roam onto AT&T's network for data and voice. Show people what T-Mobile's network is REALLY like.

And to all you AT&T haters a) wait til next year when the national roll out of HSPA+ is underway and b) try another networks data performance and let me know how that works out for you. In the areas that I spend 95% of my life in I get consistent 3mbps internet. That includes a metro area of about 100,000, a metro area of less than 50,000, and a metro area of 350,000. That's simply not going to happen on any other network, PERIOD.

I would certainly dig one of those high res 13.3 inch panels in my unibody macbook.....

iTunes bankruptcy, step one: The Great Purge

Oct 8th 2010 12:43PM (TUAW.com)
Fortunately I saw the importance of iTunes 6 or 7 years ago when I bought my first iPod. Maintaining an organized library is the single most important task one must complete when dealing with iTunes. It won't do it automatically and no program will. I have transferred library 4 times and synced 4 devices up to it and never had a problem because I always kept it organized. iTunes is merely an interface for your library but YOU are the librarian.
