I believe he was mocking Arash for his earlier post. I also believe he was mocking him for suggesting that the Panasonic HS700 was superior for being 60P.

I personally am happy with the quality of many prosumer and higher end consumer cameras. You can almost always bypass compression with the HDMI out. I also am excited by the new Handycam though I am the biggest fan of its limitations in frame rate.(BTW it isn't interlaced it is 30P but saved as 60i so you can flag for other frame rates).

That said if I could afford RED I would go for it in a sec. The ability to record RAW and the image quality is better then the competition even for the price. Of course I will have to make do with my EX3.

BTW it is a mixture of the person behind the camera and the tech. The tech opens up more doors. I could do amazing things with a Pixelvision 2000, however after awhile anyone watching it but me would get fatigued. You may be able to get away with a feature. But when I want a shot I don't want the camera to be the one to get in hte way. Thats why I like Tech!

No grumbles there are people here with a sense of humor. Its well known that our prison system is in massive disarray. That it does not rehabilitate but instead fosters and grows hardened criminals. That there are people who abuse the system throughout including some prisoners themselves.

However humor is a way of talking about issues that would normally make ordinary people squirm or at least shutdown. People don't like hearing uncomfortable stories. If some stories are too strange or different for an outsider it wil most likely be brushed off or ignored.

Humor is just as much of thought and speech as any other style. Loosen up a little. It won't hurt so much.

Well perhaps for you but I amongst many other people who use cameras in their jobs would love to get a hold of a few of these.
