The last good NFS game was Hot Pursuit 2 (which also had a killer soundtrack).

I was really mad about this until I noticed the "free" part. Now I'm only mildly annoyed.

I _loved_ MC2 but didn't really get into MC3. This looks arcadey, but VERY ugly compared to Burnout and PGR4 and other similar racing games. Hopes dropped down a little more :(

Honestly? There's a good chance not.

Warning: some people who bought this early have been having some trouble with the purchasing process.

However, anyone who got the game says it is way worth $20. It's got a couple of unlockable modes and several difficulties (and a few secrets). I'm planning on getting it soon.
