I could never work out why threespeech called themselves 'semi-official' when they never managed to get any official replys to questions asked or even had anyone from SCEE on there to chat.
It just seemed like one big sony advertising site that let you talk amongst yourselves.

I know what you mean, but the online community on R2 is still very much alive and kicking. I have never had a problem finding a game.
This has at least given me a reason to load HOME up again, although I will probably have to sit there for ages while it downloads all the areas again !!

I don't think anyone would mind admitting to owning a Atari Jaguar if it was just to play AvP, that game was excellent.
It was every other game on that system that was rubbish.

I remember playing the atari jaguar version of alien vs predator and have yet to play an alien/predator game that matched that one. That said this looks like it could win hands down if done right with authentic sounds and story background.
Looking forward to seeing some gameplay footage.

Oh, well in that case, why didn't you say so its a must have for that reason alone !!

I do see your point as those reasons can seem petty, but we are not saying Motorstorm isn't good, we are just not keen on spending cash on a game that seems so similar.
Some people prefer to have real life cars and do not like fake car makes/models so again no sale.
The Graphics in the trailer are low res and not a good example, it does the game no favours if you release a low res trailer to the masses when they expect to see a graphical marvel.
As for the music, yes its terrible, but you can turn that off, so I agree on that point.
I'm not trying to flame, just opinion.

Have to agree, this looks to much like a motorstorm clone. Much rather keep my money for Split Second as that looks like a lot more fun.
