Link's Price Slashing
Oct 29th 2008 5:26PM (Joystiq Nintendo)When we got the wii, I liked playing the wii shooting game that came with one of the wii packages (shooting ducks and balloons) and so I decided to move up to House of the Dead 2&3. The aiming was MUCH more responsive. After playing House of the Dead I realized how much of a lag there is when moving the gun toward a target in the wii duck shooting game. I then bought Links Crossbow so I could try another rail shooter game. The problem is the aiming had the same lag as the simple wii shooting game. I gave the Crossbow game to my nephew in exchange for another Perfect Shooter handle for my wii controllers. Then I bought Ghost Squad and was back to a game with responsive aiming. It is no fun when it takes a moment for the gun to get to the target you're pointing at. That's what I found happened with Links Crossbow.
Just as a side note, I've also played Resident Evil and some popular army game. The army game was way too complicated (had too many options and weapons to pick up) and in Resident Evil I couldn't get passed the fricken scorpion on the train, so I took that back also.
