This is the best final fantasy.

The replayability, the jobs, the classic story and the likeable characters.

Bungie on developing the character of Master Chief

@Prboi

Yes, the lack of character is certainly what the devs had in mind and that is his character.

But there are many characters that don't say anything through their history. He'0s certainly not rare or unique.

Sony NGP roundup: Specs, games and more

@Vidikron

I think it's important, think of how the jump from 2D to 3D was before, now add more depth and inmersion (and maybe gameplay can be affected by playingwith teh 3D effects), many wonderful things can be done with well used 3D. And obviously 3D isn't needed for AR, but AR being possible in the 3DS is what is interesting, even more with motion sensing functionality. Combine those and imagine head tracking or stuff like that.

@Danjcb

As I said, only improving the graphics is not enough, good graphics don't make good games. The other stuff, only interesting new thing is rear touchpad.

@matias

It seems many of you didn't understand my post.

I didn't mean motion controls of the xbox or ps3, or a 3D control or something.

I meant that it didn't have something ground breaking of it's own, like 3D on the 3DS can be (I think saying "it's just 3D it's oversimplifying it, as it also has AR and other, unexplored things that can be done), motion controls, xbox live, hard drives, etc.

I think the 3DS is going to give me more and new things for (likely) less money.

@eat it

As I said, except for the trackpad on the back nothing ground breaker, only an extra analog stick and a gps compass (why would you need that, the same with the 3G). Improved performance doesn't do it for a new console anymore, there is no motion contrlos like the wii, xbox live, PSN, 3D, etc.

I don't like this thing too much, I'm sure some fine games will be released for it (not interested in any of the announced ones though) but aside from that it's barely different from a PSP,there is nothing new or ground breaking (like 3D, movement sensor, and all those other crazy things the 3DS has that I hope end up being used in creative games), it's just a performance improvement (though I'm inerested in the rear touch pad), and I'm sure the price will be crazy.

Inafune talks about Capcom split, wants to be 'driving force' in game development

Nov 3rd 2010 11:40AM (Joystiq)
@GuardianLegend

Before the teams were so small that even the graphics designers had some input into the game. Heck, some important industry people started with small jobs and moved up from there.

You can't compare the job 20+ years ago with now, Inafune was and is relevant, not only because his (sort of accurate) accusations.

Actually, nobody needs Black Ops.
