Dec 17th 2011 3:05AM (Joystiq)I've never used Steam so I don't really get what's the benefit of using it. Like why should I prefer redeem the games on Steam rather than just download them to my hard drive. I understand the store part of it, ilke an iTunes for games, and that you can add friends and playing online with them that way is easier I'd guess. But what else? is it like an Xbox Live for PC games? you still have to download them right? I'm just not sure I'm getting it right and I bet it's an awesome thing I'm missing out on and I wanna get on that S.
So can anyone give me a short explanation? thank you :)
