I've been waiting for this game to come out!

Braid, other PC titles on sale this weekend on Impulse

Yeah, I wasn't so much commenting on this particular sale as I was about the general competition to Steam. There are some good deals to be had here certainly...I guess I'm just a little spoiled after all the games I got for 75 and even 85 percent of during Steam's Holiday sale!

Pencil in your own price for Crayon Physics Deluxe

I made a donation, didn't receive an email link and have received no response to my emails to support. I'm not sure I can condemn those paying $0.01 under these circumstances. And before anyone asks, I did check both the email linked to my paypal and the junk folder. I'm not really wishing him a happy birthday right now!

I agree that these other companies need to get more competitive. I like impulse and was eagerly checking their site over the holidays and it was like they weren't even trying to compete, especially after Christmas. While Steam had awesome deals every day, it was like everyone went home for the holiday at Impulse (and in fact Tech Support took a very extended holiday...much to many a person's chagrin). Like I said, I like Impulse and have a few games from their service, but how can they blame anyone but themselves for lagging behind when this is how they compete? I know that personally, the more games I own on Steam the less likely I am to buy on another service. Valve seems to know this and takes advantage of that fact by building my library and loyalty to them with extremely competitive pricing.
