Since E3 of 2008, before I even owned a ps3! Your coverage of E3 and the games to follow that holiday season were what convinced me to buy a PS3! Been reading pretty darn well close to everyday since then

YES! Sequel PLEASE! Just don't let it be released this year..its too soon. And you know what guys, no I DO NOT want multiplayer! Zero! Not even Co-Op! The best part of Dead Space was being completely isolated. As much as I love Co-Op, there seems to be a much slimmer selection of truly great single player games these days. There is nothing like getting totally sucked into a fantastic and atmospheric single player game. I loved RE5, but the story was cut short to make way for a fast-paced co-op experience. I want survival horror from the only game that got it right this gen!

I'm looking forward to it, but yeah I agree with you that this really had SOOO much potential as something else. It could have been a deep, emotional story-telling adventure. Something that draws you in similar to the way Shadow of the Colossus did... I would have loved a game like this, however this still looks entertaining, and theses guys did a really good job with Dead Space

the gameplay is exactly what you would expect but you get a lot of xp for each match so you can use it to unlock stuff/trophies...each match pretty much comes down to who has a more powerful gun since you are just standing in front of each other and shooting. I really don't think its fair that you HAVE to pay for this to get 100% trophies. If you are the type of person that loves trophies you have no choice but to buy it

My dl was only 351kb... where is everyone getting 2mb? Maybe most of the content was on that last update if I remember correctly it was about 36mb. That update did all the dirty work and preparation (ie trophies). Still...it is a little fishy...

could some explain what exactly standarization of Y-axis controls means? No sixaxis?

Hey $5 ain't too bad though really. Looks possibly fun. I just have no idea how the controls will work in a competitive match without tweaking it a little bit...then we'll all be begging for the same tweaked controls in single player..which of course will only cost $2.99
