Basically a link factory, with engineered meta data designed to push the site to the top of Google's (and to a lesser extend, Bing/Yahoo's) page rankings.

SEO = search engine optimization, and describes the process of associating the right keywords to a page, the right title page tags, etc.

Last time I checked, WoW Insider has no inside information at all. Should we bash you for that? I won't defend the linked infographic/article as I haven't looked at it, but taking onlineuniversity to task for truth in a name is weak when your own name is pushing the limits of credibility.

That hunter set is awesome. Something else to look forward to now.

I'd think either through the target with Mark or Serpent Sting. It'd have to be something with a relatively long uptime, and Mark/SS shouldn't be falling off.

I doubt it, though that would be awesome.

I don't think they'll stick to their guns on this one. The reasoning behind it is far too weak, and the player outrage is going to be huge. In the end, I don't think they'll see it as worth the hassle to take out HGWT.

Why had we never heard about this before now? Nothing from Street or anyone else saying, "Man, we think that HGWT is a problem and we might fix it." This is because they knew the feedback it would receive. You don't give people a year of teleportation and then tell them that they have to go back to driving a Yugo.

And as has been said earlier in the comments, flight points aren't exploring anything. If people aren't leaving their computer and/or alt-tabbing out to read The Internets, I'd be surprised.

Some discipline might go a long way too. HGWT has nothing to do with your lack of progression.

My guild has Morchok and Ultrax done on heroic, and we'll be trying to add Hagara to that list this week. Doesn't really bother me that it's going to be easier next week. The faster we get to HM Spine, the better. That one sounds fun as hell, mostly because the normal version became a joke once we "got it."

And if you're upset that this is ruining the game, you're ruining the game.
